The Acting Executive Chairman, Benue State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Mathew Mnyam, has pledged to ensure that every Benue child acquires sound basic education.
Mr. Mnyam stated this at the Board Headquarters during the recent hand over ceremony.
The new SUBEB boss expressed gratitude to God and the state Governor, Samuel Ortom, for the opportunity given him to serve and called on staff of the Board to support him to provide sound basic education to children in the state.
Mnyam also emphasized the need for all staff of the Board to work in synergy to enable them deliver quality education to the state.
Earlier, Mr. John Ogbo, Director Administration and Supply, who stood in for the immediate past Executive Chairman, Rev. Philip Tachin, pledged that the staff will support the new Chairman.
Also speaking, Mr. Bernard Abam, a management staff of the Board expressed confidence that the new chairman will take SUBEB to greater heights.
