The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the Osun State governorship election, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has denied being the dancing in a video clip in circulation on social media.
Adeleke described the video as fake and concocted by his political opponents.
The refusal is contained in a statement issued by the Director, Media and Publicity, Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation, Mr. Olawale Rasheed.

The statement reads: “A fake twerking video purported to be Senate Ademola Adeleke is circulating on social media in the last 24 hours. It is a concocted false clip from those facing electorate anger.
“The person in the said video is not Senator Adeleke; it is the handiwork of those fearing massive electoral loss on September 22 who think their only surviving antics is to smear the man of the people, the incoming Governor of Osun State by the special grace of God.
“We urge our good people of Osun State to discountenance the video. Our Senator has never been involved in such conduct. The PDP flagbearer is focused on campaigning and reaching out to voters.
“Let’s continue the mobilisation for victory at the polls.”
