Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State also suspended all state duties to mourn, while directing the reduction, by two hours, the working time, during the mourning period.

President Muhammadu Buhari also sent a high level government delegation to Bauchi State to commiserate with the people and family of Wakili.
