The tragic accident occurred on Tuesday when the beginner driver lost control of the car, veered off the road, and struck pedestrians, killing Eluemunor and injuring two others. The injured victims were hospitalized for treatment.
Eluemunor was set to graduate from the College of Nursing in Agbor, Delta State, before the unfortunate incident.
Eyewitnesses reported that the 100-level student’s boyfriend fled the scene, leaving his girlfriend behind.
The Delta Police Command confirmed Eluemunor’s death but did not disclose whether the suspect has been taken into custody
