The Department of State Services (DSS) on Wednesday produced former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, at the Federal High Court in Abuja, where Olisa Metuh is facing trial.
Metu is the former national publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party.
He is facing trial over alleged mismanagement of N400 million received from Dasuki’s office when he was NSA.
In the course of the trial, Metuh had requested both Dasuki and former President Goodluck Jonathan to appear as witnesses in the case.

Dasuki who has been in the custody of the DSS since 2015 was however not produced in court during the last sitting.
His counsel, Ahmed Raji, had pleaded that he should not be invited as a witness in the Metuh case, until he was released by the DSS, but the judge, Justic Okon Abang, turned down the plea, saying the order was by a superior court.
Dasuki’s lawyer further filed a suit at the Appeal Court to stop his client from appearing.
At the last sitting, Raji sought that the case of the appearance of Dasuki be stopped pending the determination of the suit.
