Christian leaders have said the inhabitants of Southern Kaduna communities will not flee their ancestral land following renewed attacks and killings in their communities at Yuletide.

In a statement, yesterday, Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association (SKCLA) pointed out that though the celebration of Christmas was bleak due to renewed attacks in Southern Kaduna communities, the people would not be cowed to vacate their homelands.

Kure, who is also the Vision Pioneer, Throne Room Trust Ministry, Kafanchan, reminded the people to continue in the spirit of Christmas, show love and extend hands of fellowship to the needy as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

He prayed that the birth of Jesus Christ will bring forth total healing in the land and restore hope to the people in the New Year.

The SKCLA Chairman, however, reminded those who had yet to collect their Permanent Voter Card (PVC), to ensure they do so, so as to actively participate in choosing their leaders in 2023. (The Guardian)
