Nigerian Star actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has apologised to Nigerians who were angered by her tweets urging those who lost people during the attack by security operatives on unarmed protesters at Lekki tollgate to speak up.

Omotola said she was not trying to create bad impressions about the killings of Nigerian youths during the #EndSARS protest in Lagos by asking for identification. She said her aim rather was for confirmation purposes.
