Twenty persons who were killed during the attacks on Kwatas Community in the Bokos Local Government Area of Plateau state by herdsmen have been given a mass burial.
However, two other victims would be taken to their native homes, Shendam and Mushere for burial on Friday as mass burial was said to be against their tradition.
Recall that Fulani herdsmen attacked the Kwatas community on Sunday and Monday.

Meanwhile, the PUNCH reported some villagers as still expressing shock over the attacks.
The paper quoted a community leader, Mr. Benjamin Shaweng, as saying; “We have just buried 20 of our people killed by herdsmen. Two other persons will be taken to their place in Shendam and Mushere for burial on Friday in line with their tradition and wishes of their immediate family.”
