Former Police Commissioner in Lagos State, Abubakar Tsav, has raised an alarm over threat to his life following his whistle blowing on two appointees of Benue state government.

Tsav who said he blew the whistle on two officials of the Benue state government, Mr. Stephen Amase and Mr. Emmanuel Manger cried out that his life is under threat.

LRecall that Mr. Stephen Amase, the Principle Private Secretary to Governor Samuel Ortom and Mr. Emmanuel Manger, a former Commissioner for Works, Transport and Energy under Samuel Ortom’s first tenure and now His Senior Special Assitance, SSA, were arrested by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, ICPC and arraigned before High Court 2 Makurdi, for diversion of N4.8 Billion Money meant for road contract in Governor Ortom’s Guma LGA.

Abubakar Tsav in a telephone message told the Next Edition that “One Stephen Amase, the Principle Private Sec to Gov Ortom and Hon Emmanuel Manger a former Commissioner for works under Samuel Ortom and now SSA, have been arraigned before High Court 2 Makurdi, for diversion of N4.8bn Money meant for road contract in Governor Ortom’s LGA.

“I am the Whistle Blower in the case. I have received calls threatening to eliminate me for not allowing them rest in Benue State.

“I am aware that only God Almighty has power over life and death. I am encouraged by this belief to also believe that I am above human destruction.”

Tsav who stated that his callers concealed their phone numbers before calling him called their bluff vowing that he will never close his eyes to any act of corruption in the state and nation as a whole.

“They are just bluffing and I shall not close my eyes on cases of corruption in Benue State and indeed in any part of this country,” Tsav said.
