The Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede, has described as fake, a video on the visa on arrival policy trending on the social media.

The Immigration boss, who dissociated the NIS from the video, spoke in a statement in Abuja on Sunday issued by the NIS spokesman, Sunday James.

Babandede noted that the video “has the tendency of misinforming the public and cast doubt on the good intentions of the government.

“All official releases are done on our official website www.immigration.gov.ng as the most credible and approved platform on which such sensitive National issues can be disseminated and circulated.

“The service is, therefore, calling on the general public to disregard the fake video, while assuring them of highly professional service delivery in the interest of the nation,” he added.
