Two Nigeria Air Force aircraft’s involved in an accident

Two aircraft belonging to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) have been involved in an accident.

The accident occurred during rehearsals for the Independence day celebrations.

A statement signed by the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, confirmed the accident.

It read: “I wish to confirm an air incident involving 2 Nigerian Air Force aircraft taking part in the rehearsals for the 58th Independence Day Celebrations.”

The statement however, did not give details of the accident or whether there were any casualties.

Unconfirmed reports say though that one person may have died in the incident.
