He was aged 69.

Mr. Matthew’s association with Ms. Ibanga dates back to Champion Newspapers Ltd where both of them worked.

Ms Ibanga who described Mr. Olushola’s death as shocking and devastating said he was a very dedicated and hardworking colleague who by association had become member of their family.

She said: “Baba Ibanga’s death as he was popularly known, is shocking and devastating. We had been together for many long years. He was a bona fide (if I may literally use the words), member of our family. His dedication to work was second to none. He became so close to us that we treated him as our father in our family. Above all, he was trustworthy.

“We will definitely miss him a whole lot. Our condolences to members of his immediate and extended families. But our consolation remains that he has gone to be with the Lord and is enjoying absolute peace. May his gentle soul rest in peace.”

According to burial arrangements released by his family, Mr. Matthew will be buried on Saturday, October 12 at No 8 Animashaun Street, off Unique Estate, Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos by 10 a.m prompt.
