Paul Okoye of the P-Square fame has mocked the Federal Government for describing Tekno’s Lekki nude video” as “a threat to national security.”

Paul, who changed his stage name from Rude Boy to King Rudy, expressed his displeasure at the turn of event via his Instagram page when he sarcastically said: “You are a threat to our national security. According to Fufu and Garri (F.G)…so we need goat meat.”

In absolute show of disappointment to the Federal Government reaction towards Tekno and as a way of showing support, he added: “Some people are not just reasoning at all.”

Federal Government’s pronouncement followed the recent release of the musician’s album, which featured scenes of semi nude girls dancing in a display truck.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday the Director-General, National Council for Arts and Culture, Segun Runsewe, said Tekno would be used as a scapegoat to teach others a serious lesson.

Runsewe insisted that nude dancing was not part of Nigeria’s culture and would not be tolerated from any quarters.

“No single person is bigger than Nigeria; whether he likes it or not, we are going to use him as a scapegoat to send a strong signal that this government does not tolerate nonsense and immorality,” Runsewe said.

“Now that he has released the shameful video when investigation is still ongoing, we are going to inform security agencies to place him on their watch list, because his action is a threat to national security and a bad influence on Nigerian youths.”

Section 136 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015, states that any person, who commits any act of gross indecency with another person in public, commits an offence and is liable upon conviction to three years imprisonment.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency has since suspended the advertising agency whose display truck was used in shooting the video.
