Two teenagers – Owolabi Olamilekan and Sunday Kingsley on Friday appeared before an Ogudu Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, for allegedly being members of a secret society.
Olamilekun and Kingsley, both aged 18, are standing trial along with 20-year-old Daniel Olamide.
The defendants, all of whom reside at Ikorodu, are facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and membership of an unlawful society.
According to the prosecutor, Insp. Lucky Ihiehie, the defendants and others still at large, committed the offences on March 13 at Igbokuta area of Ikorodu.

Ihiehie said that the accused and their accomplices conspired among themselves to belong to a secret society called “Klansmen Konfraternity” in contravention of Sections 42(a) and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Magistrate, Mrs H.B. Mogaji, granted each of the accused N200,000 bail with one surety each in like sum.
Mogaji adjourned the case until April 29 for hearing.
