Marvel Cinematic Universe movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has become the first movie to hit the billion dollar mark in global ticket sales.
According to Sony, it is the first and only movie released in 2021 to do so and it is also the first movie to cross that mark since the pandemic began.
The movie accomplished this feat just after its release in December 17, 2021.

The movie earned more than $600 million worldwide in its opening weekend and continued the strong ticket sales throughout the lead-up and during the Christmas holiday.
“Spider-Man: No Way Home” stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Marisa Tomei and Jacob Batalon.
