Twitter users have been busy talking about the revelation.

Below are some reactions.

@EdmundOris

“This Dr. Boniface is just like 1 out of 26727373838 Lectures in Nigeria.

They are other WAY WORSE THAN HIM. You wouldn’t believe.

Expose all of them, sack them, send them to jail if possible.

They are all mad. Bastards.”

@BadmusHakeem

“Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu is a senior lecturer, a former sub dean, Faculty of Arts, UNILAG. He claims to be a pastor of Foursquare church. This is a Serial abuser if you ask me! The way he’s coercing the lady shows this is not his first time! #SexForGrade.”

@WaleGates

“This #SexForGrades undercover move is what shld ve been done for Fatoyinbo COZA. Plant One nice spirit filled pawon babe?inside his pastoral care team, b4 u say “Jon Bull” he’s offering her a higher level of Grace & all the doubters can watch it in HD.

Call it #SexForGrace.”

@daddys_girlT

“I know girls who willingly give out sex for good grades.. they go to the lecturers & offer them terms. So believe me, even though lecturers who practice these evil acts are fools who should be ashamed of themselves, dumb girls doing this willingly are a problem too. #SexForGrades.”

@RealDreylo

“Dr. Boniface isn’t the only one that does this in Unilag o. There are many predators in all the Federal and State Universities, public disgrace is what they should get. #SexForGrade”

@akproko_doctor

“How old are you?

17.

“And you’re big like this?” People who think like this are perverts. You would think the age would stop him but no, “Let me kiss you for a minute”

To think he is also in charge of a foundation that caters to vulnerable girls makes me shudder.”

@whalakid

“If this had not been recorded, he would have denied all allegations, reported her to the parents, and made sure she failed all courses till she accept his proposal.

Some parents won’t even believe what their children say ?”

@aww_GhostTears

“The cold room in UCC is Senior Club House. The names dieeer we fit mention but we mention demma names fini ah then emean say the degree we for forfeit am.”

@AuntyAda

“Some girls even wear wedding bands to avoid lecturers disturbing them.

But guess what? It doesn’t work.”

@uchejombo

“Someone actually said it’s against the law to video someone secretly while talking about Dr. Boniface ?so YOU watched.

#SexForGrades and that’s all you got?

We have a proper problem with sex abuse culture in Africa as a whole and using God to do the most horrific things.”

@DonJazzy

“I understand that some Ladies are also guilty of offering their lecturers sex for good grades but I believe this documentary will be a deterrent. If the students know their lecturers will reject their offers, they won’t dare make an attempt.”

@That_IjebuBadoo

“Eedris Abdulkareem spoke about #SexForGrades in 2006. That’s 13 years ago & I’m sure it’s been happening long long long before he made this song. Still relevant to this day.”

@iniobong_

“#SexForGrades is a norm in Nigerian universities. Some of my female university colleagues and friends experienced it. I was even victimized by two lecturers whose advances were turned down by my female friends. Seeing me around with them they thought I was dating them.”

@KwabenaWann

“Don’t shout racism when you go to a foreign company with first class from an African University and someone with a third class is picked over you.. You don’t merit that certificate… Because they now believe it’s as a result of sex that had you the cert.”
