Larry King’s estranged wife, Shawn Southwick King, says that contrary to media reports, the TV icon did not die due to Covid-19 complications but died of Sepsis.
THEWILL writes that the death of Larry King was announced last Saturday after testing positive for COVID-19.
However, Southwick King, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, disclosed that Sepsis killed Larry King.
She said: “It was an infection; it was sepsis that killed King.
“His sweet little body was just been hit so many times with so many things and once we heard the word Coronavirus , all of our hearts just sank.”
According to her, the late TV presenter beat COVID-19 but it had taken a toll on his health.
But he beat it, but it did take its toll and then the unrelated infection finally is what took him, but Larry was not going to go down easily,” she said.

Shawn and Larry got married in 1997 but Larry filed for divorce in August 2019 citing irreconcilable differences. Shawn said she spoke with Larry, the father of her sons, Chance and Cannon, before his death.
Shawn stated that Larry’s last message to her was, “I love you, take care of the boys.”
THEWILL notes that Shawn was Larry King’s seventh wife. It was however unclear whether the divorce was finalised before the death of the popular TV host. (The Will)
