Recovered assets: Buhari sets up audit committee

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday in Abuja, set up a committee to audit all the assets recovered by his government since inception.

The committee is made up Olufemi Lijadu, Gloria Bibigha and Mohammed Nami.

The committee has four weeks within which to turn in its report.

President Buhari said he had already directed all government agencies to send detailed reports of all recoveries made within the stipulated period to his office.

He also urged all banks, companies and other relevant bodies to cooperate with the committee in the course of carrying out its assignment.
