Osun guber: We’ll resist any attempt to change results –PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has vowed to resist any attempt to manipulate the results of the Osun State governorship election held on Saturday.

The vow was made against the background of alleged attempt to change results to favour another party.

The party made the vow in on its twitter handle, @OfficialPDPNig.

“The polling units collated results from Osogbo is with us. The @OfficialPDPNig will not accept any manipulated result except the ones collated at PU. We call on @inecnigeria to tread carefully. Nigerians are watching. Osogbo result must not be manipulated,” the tweet reads.

In another tweet, the party called on its members and supporters to be present at collation centres of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The tweet reads:  “#OsunDecides2018 We call on all our members and supporters in Osun State and environs to maintain their presence at the @inecnigeria collation center. Our agents must be armed with all collated original results from the polling units.”
