Flat 7B Osborne Towers , Ikoyi, Lagos, where a whopping $43.5m said to belong to the Nigeria Intelligence Agency, NIA, under the watch of Ayo Oke, has been temporarily forfeited by the Federal High Court in Lagos.
The forfeiture order was made by Justice Saliu Saidu to the federal government following a request to that effect by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The EFCC it would be recalled had named the wife of the former Director General of NIA, Ayo Oke, of being the owner of the flat.
Mrs. Oke is currently under probe along with her husband over the money found in the flat.
EFCC disclosed that Mrs. Oke purchased the flat in 2015 in the name of a company, Chobe Ventures Limited.
