Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom says the judgment of the Court of Appeal on the 2019 Benue State governorship election is victory for the people of the state who gave him a second term mandate.
The appeal Court had earlier on Thursday, dismissed Jime’s appeal, awarding the sum of N150,000 as cost.
Gov. Ortom in a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase stated that the appellate court verdict has not only validated the earlier judgement of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, but also confirmed the choice of Benue voters in the 2019 polls.
He again thanked God for giving him the opportunity to lead the state for another term.
