Former Minister of Education and co-founder of #BringBackOurGirls campaign, Oby Ezekwesili, will feature the debut of Forbes Woman Africa programme, “Against the Odds.”

The highly anticipated women empowerment show, to be anchored by Peace Hyde, is set to premier on Friday 30, June, on the Pan-African business channel, CNBC Africa, Channel 410 on DSTV.

Mrs. Ezekwesili is expected to talk on, “How can Nigeria continue to dance on the graves of our children,” her harrowing experience in fighting corruption in Nigeria.

The show is the latest addition from Forbes Woman Africa (www.ForbesAfrica.com) depicting the journey of some of the most influential women in West and South Africa, who have achieved remarkable feats whiles defying the odds.

The former minister will also speak on her experience as co-founder of Transparency International, and the shock and horror of finding out about the abduction of over 270 girls in Chibok, Borno State, Northeast Nigeria.

 Recently, Mrs. Ezekwesili has been attacking President Muhammadu Buhari for not doing enough to stop the upsurge of violence and criminality in the country.

Her action has attracted sharp criticism from the presidency and some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
