Ayinla urged the hoteliers to put in place stringent security measures to prevent any form of crimes and make it very difficult, even impossible for criminal minded people to use hotel facilities as their hideouts.

According to him, during the festive period, there will be influx of people in the state, including the bad eggs and most of them would like relaxation centres and hotels as hideouts.

He said that part of the measures agreed at the meeting was to put in place filling of lodgers form by hotel customers.

”The lodgers must produce a valid identity card and there must be installation of CCTV camera by the hoteliers,” Ayinla said.

The spokesperson said the parties also agreed that there should be regular contact with Counterterrorism unit, Intelligence and Investigation Department of the corps. (NAN)
