The number of persons infected with the Coronavirus in Nigeria has risen to 1095.
This followed the confirmation of 114 new cases on Friday night by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
Announcing the result on its verified Twitter handle, the NCDC, noted that 80 out of the 114 cases were confirmed in Lagos even as it disclosed that five cases originally recorded in Lagos, are now recorded as Ogun state cases.
Meanwhile, the number of confirmed cases in Lagos is now 657.
