Hon Victor David Enweruzo, the State Coordinator of Lagos Atikulated Agenda 2019, has applauded the choice of Mr. Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra State as the running mate of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 election.
Enweruzo, who spoke at a stakeholder’s forum in Lagos on Wednesday, said the team was what the nation needed to return to the path of progress, growth and development.
He described Obi as an experienced and prudent economic manager, who would play vital roles in the enunciation and implementation of the government’s economic policies, even as he urged Nigerians from all walks of life to give the pair favourable support for the nation to move forward.
He urged Nigerians to ensure that the All Progressives Congress (APC) did not return to power in 2019, lamenting that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration had taken the nation several steps backward.
Enweruzo stated that the return of APC in 2019 would further plunge the citizens into more suffering, even as he stressed the need for Nigerians to unite to elect Atiku and PDP to change the nation’s story positively.

He maintained that if Nigerians allowed the incumbent Buhari administration to continue, the current suffering in the land would continue, while the level of poverty would increase.
Enweruzo maintained that the APC had nothing more to offer the nation after what he termed its first term of clueless administration, which he said had left the nation’s economy prostrate, and industries moribund.
According to him Atiku would be a better administrator whose regime would improve the nation’s economy to provide jobs for the teeming population and empower the youths, stressing that he would be coming with a master plan that would drive investment for the good of the citizens.
Enweruzo also maintained that Atiku would not go back on his pledge to restructure the country; a programme which he said would take off few months after he mounted the saddle as the nation’s president.
He said that under a restructured federation, the country would be more viably administered as each region or zone would manage its resources and contribute to the running of the central government.
He also stressed that under Atiku, the nation would be more united, while peace and security would return as there would be agitations by various regional and ethnic groups would have been checked.
