They were reportedly walking to their rented accommodation when the two men accosted them and tried to molest them.

The women would not go down without a fight, rained blows on their assailants while screaming for help.

Their cries for help attracted people to the scene and on seeing this, the assailants tried to flee but the two women would not give up and gave chase.

Helped by a few passersby, they outran and overpowered the men before a police patrol team arrived the scene.

The two women sought the help of officials at the Nigerian embassy, saying they were set to leave for home soon after completing their studies.
