NCDC Reports 481 New Cases Of Coronavirus In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday confirmed 481 more cases of Coronavirus infections across the country.

This brings to 42, 689, the total number of infections recorded so far in the country.

According to the NCDC update posted on its official Twitter handle, five deaths occured from the infection on Thursday, bringing the total deaths related to the deadly infection to 878.

Meanwhile, the health body disclosed that a total of 19, 270 COVID-19 patients have been treated and discharged in the country.

The new cases are reported from 14 States and Abuja as follows: FCT (96), Lagos (89), Plateau (68), Ogun (49), Edo (44), Rivers (43), Oyo (25), Osun (23), Delta (15), Enugu (11), Kano (7), Kaduna (7), Bauchi (2), Bayelsa (1), Yobe (1).
