The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 120 additional coronavirus infections in the country.
NCDC’s announcement of the new infections on its official twitter handle late on Monday brings the total number of infections in the country to 59, 465 as of the day under review.
According to the health agency, no death was recorded for the second consecutive day, consequently, the overall death figure nationwide remain at 1,113.

Data released by NCDC, showed that 183 persons who made full recovery were discharged on Monday bringing to 50,951 the total number of discharged cases.
Meanwhile, the health agency said the new infections were reported from 12 states and Abuja with Rivers state having the highest number.
The details are as follow; Rivers (65), FCT (12), Ogun (9), Katsina (8), Anambra (7), Bauchi (5), Oyo (5), Nasarawa (3), Kaduna (2), Kwara (1), Taraba (1), Imo (1), and Delta (1).
