Nasarawa REC takes delivery of sensitive materials for Saturday elections

Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, has taken delivery of sensitive materials for Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections in Nasarawa State.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the materials conveyed in three articulated vehicles arrived at Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Lafia premises at 11:30 a.m. amid tight security.

The materials were being off-loaded at the time of the report, supervised by Dr Uthman Ajidagba, the state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), security chiefs, foreign and local observers.

The REC had yet to brief journalists on the delivery of the materials and when to distribute them various local government areas.
