The police in Katsina have arrested three persons in connection with the disappearance of about N16m from the Office of the Secretary to the Katsina State Government Muhammed Inuwa.
Those arrested include a Director, a cashier and a security guard working in the SSG’s office located within the state secretariat complex at Dandagoro, Katsina.
It was gathered that the trio were picked up by the police after it was found out that the office had been broken into by unknown persons who allegedly took away the huge sum.

The incident was said to have happened on Sunday.
Reports said the missing money was part of the fund set aside for the May and June, 2019 allowance arrears to beneficiaries of S-Power teaching at various state-owned secondary and primary schools.
The payment was supposed to commence on Monday.
S-Power is the Katsina State government programme patterned after the federal government’s N-Power scheme, with hundreds of graduates and NCE holders recruited to teach in public schools.
