Popular Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, also known as Mohbad has been released from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) custody.
Recall he was arrested alongside Zinoleesky and others by the operatives of the drug enforcement agency in the early hours of Thursday, February 24, 2022.
In a new development, the singer has accused his label boss, Naira Marley and members of the label of attempting to kill him. He made this known in an Instagram live video hours after his release.
According to him, members of Marlian Records label tried to harm him after his release.

“They have been doing bad things on me, I went mad because of this issue, now they are trying to kill me. Everybody in the whole world please help me, if I die woh na Marlian music and Naira Marley kill me,” he said.
He also revealed that his label mate, Zinoleesky and three others are still in NDLEA custody.
Naira Marley, on the other hand, has accused NDLEA of assaulting his signees and holding them illegally. In a series of tweets made on Friday, February 25, 2022, he condemned the arrests and asked the agency to release his artistes.
“NDLEA has released Mohbad after physically assaulting him, Zinoleesky is still in custody. The boys are under a lot of stress after being ambushed in the middle of the night with no warrant. I’m urgently returning to Lagos now now now.”
“What is happening to my brothers is disgusting. The injustice is unfair and this is beginning to look like a pattern. First me now my artists. Free Zinoleesky, free shubomi, free micee and dosky.”
