Late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has been celebrated on The Times Square billboard, Broadway Times Square, New York City.
MohBad’s appearance on the Times Square Billboard happens one week after his death.

The singer, a former signee of Naira Marley at Marlian Records, died on Sept. 12, at the age of 27.

His death has sparked a lot of public outrage and calls for justice. It has also drawn international attention with calls from Nigerian youths on social media demanding for a thorough investigation into his sudden demise.

The Billboard displaying Mohbad’s images reads, “Will be remembered forever Mohbad. Legend are never forgotten. R.I.P.”

With his posthumous appearance, Mohbad now joins Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Davido, among others, on the list of Nigerian celebrities to feature on a billboard in Times Square.
