Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, has assured Nigerian workers of President Muhammadu Buhari’s commitment to their welfare and that of Nigerians in general.
He also assured of the President’s determination to leave behind a legacy of service and a buoyant economy.

Chris Ngige, in a short message to workers to commemorate the 2019 Workers’ Day celebration in Abuja on Tuesday, said it was the president’s resolve to improve the lives of Nigerian workers that prompted him to give states bailout to pay the salaries and pensions of their workers.
He said the Theme of this year’s celebration, ‘Another 100 Years of Struggle for Jobs, Dignity and Social Justice in Nigeria,’ “aligns with the vision and efforts of the president, to uplift the lots of the Nigerian workers and also leave a legacy of a buoyant economy for the country.’’
