The Lutheran Church of Nigeria Presidency, has condoled with the family of Late Ambassador Nsikak Eduok over the death of their love one.

The Church with members of Board of Trustees, Board of Directors and the Christian Council of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State branch were at the residence of the Late Ambassador to condole with the family over his death

Nsikak Eduok, an Elder Statesman, was a devoted Father and a Faithful Christian.

The National President/Archbishop of Church, Most Rev. Christian Ekong in his brief exhortation, extolled the virtues of Air Marshall Nsikak, saying he was a man with a Lutheran blood though of Qua Iboe.

He said Nsikak sincerely loved God and was always willing to serve Him in any capacity.

According to him, the death of Amb. Eduok is painful and grieving because he has left at a time where the family, the church and the society needed him most.

The Archbishop explained that the Lutheran church was his foundation that made and developed him to who he was.

“Therefore, the Church cannot leave the family in times likes this – the grieves and pains are also felt by the church, Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria.”

He urged the family to be encouraged and to continue living in faith knowing that there is resurrection of the body after death.

Most Rev Ekong appealed to the family to allow peace and love to dwell amongst them as they protect the welfare of their father’s widow, Deaconess Eduok.

The Latest installed Luther Ambassador International and a Member of the Board of Directors of the church, Elder Effiong Essien also consoled the bereaved family on behalf of the Luther Ambassadors and Members of the Board of Directors.

Elder Essien who is also the Head of Civil Service in Akwa Ibom State, described Late Eduok as a colossus who, though dead, will live on through his indelible legacies in his family and by extension the entire Akwa Ibom and Nigeria at large.

Also, the Christian Council of Nigeria, (CCN), Akwa Ibom Branch registered their presence with the team that came for the visit, adding that CCN will always maintain the intercessory role of praying for the family.

Responding on behalf of the family, the first son of the deceased, Mr. Anthony Eduok, lauded the kind gestures of the Lutheran Church and the Christian Council of Nigeria.

He described their words of exhortation as soul-lifting and encouraging and urged the Church to also extend this gesture to others who are in distress,.

He also requested the church to continue to show friendship to the family even after the burial of their father as they will need their advice and godly counsel.
