Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal High Court, Lagos, discharged and acquitted former Gov. Rasheed Ladoja of Oyo State of corruption charges.
In a judgment delivered on Friday, he held that the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, did not provide enough evidence against Ladoja.
Recall that the anti corruption body had charged Ladoja to court for allegedly converting N4.7 billion from the state’s treasury for his personal use.
