No fewer than seven suspects have been arrested by the police in connection with the armed robbery incident in in Offa, Kwara State.
Kwara State Police Commissioner, Mr Lawan Ado, made this known on Saturday while speaking with journalists.
He added that efforts were going on to arrest the remaining criminals.
The robbery which was carried out on five commercial banks along the Owode Market area of Offa town where millions of naira was carted away left no fewer than 30 persons dead.

He said the police had also recovered the “operational’’ vehicles abandoned by the robbers while attempting to escape.
Meanwhile, the Presidency has condemned the robbery incident.
It also sent a condolence message to the families of the victims and residents of the town.
The condolence message was sent on the official tweeter handle of the Presidency, @NGRpresident.
The message was posted on Saturday.
