Popular rapper, Kanye West, has been declared ineligible for ballots in three states for failure to meet important deadline.
According to TMZ, he is required to file a financial report by FEC rules, if he raises or spends a hundred dollars on his campaign.
The filing deadline was on August 20, 2020, and the agency has not received his yet.
Following rulings by election officials, he was also taken off the ballot in five US states on August 20 and 21. Election officials in Illinois, Ohio and West Virginia said he was not qualified to be on their ballots just after Montana and Wisconsin also took him off their ballots, reports TMZ.

According to reports, Illinois and West Virginia stated he was ineligible for the ballots because he lacked the number of required votes needed in the respective states.
He was disqualified in Ohio because the signature and information on a nominating petition and statement of candidacy for the rapper and running mate didn’t match paperwork used to gather voters’ signatures, reports say.
Reports say he is only qualified to be on the ballot in Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Utah and Vermont.
