Inter Milan’s perfect run in the Serie A stumbled and crashed as Juve ended their smooth ride to the top.
Gonzalo Higuain’s superb late strike earned Juve a 2-1 victory in the San Siro on Sunday and effectively halted Inter’s smooth sail to the top.
The Argentine striker, came on as a substitute, applied a clinical finish to a flowing move in the 80th minute.
Paulo Dybala gave Maurizio Sarri’s side the lead four minutes into the game before Inter equalized in the 18th minute.
Matthijs de Ligt handled the ball in the area and a penalty was given against Inter which Lautaro Martinez converted.
Juventus now top with 19 points while Inter is 2nd with 18 points.
Atalanta with 16 points in third following an impressive start to the season won 3-1 at home against Lecce.
Napoli is in Fourth-placed with 13 points, after being held to a goalless draw at Torino while AS Roma is fifth on 12 points.
