Members of the Senate reconvened for plenary on Tuesday, but could not form a quorum.
They subsequently decided to adjourn few minutes after sitting.
Motion for adjournment till March 12 was moved by the Senate Leader.

Other members voted in his favour and the Senate was accordingly adjourned
The failure to form a quorum may not be unconnected with last Saturday’s National Assembly as many of the sitting senators re-election who are yet to know their fate are in their constituencies to monitor collation of results.
