President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday narrowly escaped being hit by stones being hauled at the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole.
The incident happened at the Ogun State APC presidential rally held at the MKO Stadium in Abeokuta.
The programme, which commenced officially immediately after President Buhari arrived the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, was suspended for some minutes following the violence.

Trouble started when Oshiomhole was called to the podium to speak. As he commenced his speech, persons suspected to be hoodlums started throwing stones at him and one of the stones flew in the direction where the President was seated.
He was saved by one of the security operatives who took the hit in his place.
