Mr. Gboyega Oyetola, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has been sworn in as the 5th executive governor of Osun State.
He takes over from Rauf Aregbesola also of the APC.
The official handover ceremony held in Osogbo, the state capital.
Oyetola was declared winner of the September 22, Osun governorship re-run election, narrowly beating the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Ademola Adeleke.

Meanwhile Adeleke and the PDP are contesting the result of that election at the Osun Election Tribunal.
