The Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, has adjourned proceedings in the trial of suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen, indefinitely.
At the resumed trial of the false declaration of Assets case against the Justice, the Tribunal said it was adjourning the trial pending the determination of the application filed by Onnoghen at the Court of Appeal against it.
Onnoghen had been facing a six-count charge at the CCT but challenged the Tribunal’s jurisdiction at the Court of Appeal.
