The Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Tomi Coker said the Italian confirmed to have been infected with Coronavirus had also visited Ewekoro in Ewekoro Local Government Area of the State within the week.
Coker disclosed this on Friday morning while briefing the press, but assured residents and visitors to the state that there was no cause for alarm.
According to her, the Italian visited a giant manufacturing company(name withheld) in Ewekoro community.

The Commissioner said the the company has since been quarantined in accordance with health safety standard.
She assured that the state has epidemiologists and Infectious Disease Consultants already handling the situation with support from the Lagos State Government and Federal Government.
She further stated that efforts were in place to get in touch with people who have been in contact with the Italian.
Coker advised the public to wash their hands regularly, cover their mouth and nose while sneezing or coughing and to report to the nearest public health centre if they notice any sign of cold, cough and respiratory difficulty.
