JUST IN: Atiku will deliver dividends of democracy – Udom

Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, says the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, will deliver the dividends of Democracy to Nigerians in general and Akwa Ibomites in particular, if elected into office come February 16.

Speaking at the ongoing Presidential campaign rally of the party in the state, Emmanuel noted that of all the presidential candidates, only Atiku had an economic blue print that will lift the nation out of the present economic strait it has found itself.

According to him, “Atiku understands the youths, the economy, and balance sheet,” therefore, he deserves to become the next President of the country.

Udom declared that PDP was Akwa Ibom and Akwa Ibom PDP.

Also welcoming Party faithful and supporters, wife of the state governor, Mrs. Martha Udom declared that Akwa Ibom was “Atikulated and Udomesticated,” maintaining that PDP was not dead in the state.

According to her, come February 16, Akwa Ibom will praticalise their support for Atiku with their votes.

She noted that the women of the state in all the nooks and crannies know that Atiku is their president because they are convinced he is coming to “teach them how to fish and not give them fish.”
