President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with Service Chiefs at the State House, Abuja.

Though the agenda for the meeting was not made public, it was believed to be connected with the escalating security challenges in the country, especially in the activities of Boko Haram terrorists in the North East in recent times.

Present at the meeting were the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Tukur Buratai; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar; the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas and the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu.
