Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, has declared himself the most humiliated politician to date.

This, he said, was because he was facing six different cases over charges he described as not genuine.

His words:  “No politician has been so humiliated in this country. Six arraignments. One by the federal government through the office of the attorney-general of the federation and five by the Nigeria police.

“The latest was on Wednesday last week, a fresh arraignment before an FCT High Court.”

Melaye who spoke with journalists on Friday in Abuja is currently being prosecuted over alleged arms deal.

He is currently on bail.

Melaye who also said that he was in a state of insecurity disclosed that he was already requesting for his international passport from the police.

According to him, he had already told his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome to retrieve it for him.
