Busola Dakolo, photographer and wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo, has alleged in an interview with the UK Guardian that policemen threatened her with a gun and forced her to sign a letter accusing her and her husband of criminal conspiracy.

This incident reportedly happened three weeks after she had filed a rape allegation against the Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Biodun Fatoyinbo.

In the interview, Mrs. Dakolo claimed she was trailed to her home by people on a silver Toyota and white minibus with tinted glass, already parked at her house by the time she got there.

According to her, a policeman then alighted from the vehicle and told her to get into the bus to speak to his boss, a request she declined.

Mrs Dakolo said when she refused, three men alighted from the vehicle and came to her car.

Explaining further she said: “One was holding a gun, and I noticed a second one holding a letter. They told me they were from IG’s office in Abuja and that I needed to sign this letter and acknowledge it,” Dakolo said.

According to her, the letter contained allegations of criminal conspiracy, falsehood, mischief and threat to life levelled against her and husband, a well-known musician.

The paper reported that the charges against the Dakolos were brought by “a special police branch in a counter-case filed by COZA, despite investigations stalling the initial case.”

Recall that Busola Dakolo in an interview with Ynaija alleged that Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo raped her more than once when she was a teenager. This allegation led to a chain reaction of events that saw the Pastor temporarily stepping down from the pulpit after the story garnered at lot of public attention.
