Her story was an appreciation post to celebrate a man called Wale Olaleye who encouraged her to go back to acting when she wanted to give up on her career.

“Few years ago, during very dark times in my life, I packed up my bags and left for the USA. On getting to the US, I made up my mind that I was done with fame and everything that comes with it.”

“I was ready to quit and be done with my career. One day, I got a call from a friend, Dotun, who asked me if I was coming back to Nigeria. I told him I wasn’t and that I was done. He then told me someone was going to call me.”

“Shortly after, I received a call from Mr. Wale Olaleye, he asked me what happened and I explained everything to him. I told him I was tired. Mr. Wale said, “Toyin, you have a beautiful career, you have the most adorable career. You can’t just abandon your career.”

Accordingto the movie star, Mr. Wale footed her bills and supported her career.

“On this special day, I can’t buy you a house or a car because you are rich but I can pray for you and your loved ones. Gbogbo ibi ti awon omo yin na ba de won ma ma ba alaanu pa de. May God continue to protect you and be there for you in all ways. May you have multiple reasons to rejoice and be happy.”

“Happy birthday my darling brother @akanbitheduke, longer years in good health and wealth. Thank you so much. We love you. ❤️❤️❤️”
