Ogoni women in Rivers State on Tuesday staged a peaceful protest over the “continuous detention” of the manager of Prodest Hotel which was demolished by Gov. Nyesom Wike, on May 10.
The manager, Bariledum Azoroh, was on Monday May 25, declared positive for the coronavirus and taken into isolation.
The protesting women who were seen carrying different placards, demanded Azoroh’s immediate release from the state’s Isolation center.
