The wife, three children and three relatives of Zamfara State Commissioner for Youths, Sports and Skills Acquisition, Alhaji Abdullahi Gurbin Bore, have been kidnapped.

The kidnappers stormed the residence of the commissioner in Zurmi local government area of the state at about 1:30 a.m.

They took members of the family away and are yet to get in touch with the commissioner or any member of the family.

The commissioner who confirmed the incident while speaking with journalists in Gusau said: “They have not yet demanded for any ransom from us. In fact, we have not discussed anything with them, but we have reported the matter to security agencies.”
